Moffatt & Powell Helps Huron Hospice Go Green

Huron Hospice is taking another step toward going green.

Huron Hospice volunteers have worked hard to eliminate the use of pesticides and invasive species on the property. They have planted native trees and pollinator plants. Today, Huron Hospice is listed as a Certified North American Monarch Butterfly Waystation.

We have replaced our gas-powered lawn mower with an electric mower purchased from Moffatt & Powell Rona in Seaforth. To help us offset the cost of the mower, Moffatt & Powell has chosen Huron Hospice as their designated charity for 2025. During the months of June to September, they will raise money with their customers and the community by holding raffles, BBQs and other activities at the store. Check with the store for exciting opportunities.
