Susan & David Bender

Their Story…

Susan and David Bender are two of the many donors who have made such meaningful contributions to Huron Hospice and left a positive impact on not just the Hospice, but the community as a whole. In the words of Susan and David:

“In the past 10 years, we have observed a huge need for “end of life care” between institutions and home care; this reality came into focus when a dear Bayfield friend’s needs could not be met.

The home-style palliative care provided by Hospice provides the acute care and comfort for individuals and accommodates their families thru their end-of-life journey. Recently, our sister’s short-term needs were met by “Huron Hospice”- we are grateful!

We have accepted our responsibility “to do more good’ personally and thru our family fund. Charitable giving to make a difference in our home communities (Kitchener & Bayfield) has been a priority for years now”
