The 4th Annual HIT for Health Slo-Pitch will support Huron Hospice this year. May 19-21 at Bannister Park in Goderich. Thank you to all the players, organizers and sponsors for supporting Huron Hospice.
Huron Hospice is hosting its first Death Cafe. This is an opportunity for interested people to meet and to talk about and better understand death and dying.
Steve and Mary’s On The Square has graciously offered their restaurant for this event. Beverages and fresh pie may be purchased by attendees.
“Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their lives'. A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.”
